History

2007 – Extension of Security and Audit Department.

In response to our Clients’ demands, we are creating a separate department that will deal with security audits of web applications. This department will also support the Quality Department in testing our products before their delivery to the Clients. We broaden technological competencies by obtaining official status of a certified partner of Microsoft and IBM, confirmed by proper examinations and documents.

2006 – this year is marked by cooperation with the banking sector.

Growing competencies of our company were appreciated by the increasing number of clients from the financial and insurance sector. We implement large systems streamlining important business processes in banks for such companies. Cooperation with such demanding clients results in an increase of competencies of WebService within the scope of integration of designed applications with other extended systems, e.g. accounting systems and transaction systems.

2005 – WebService concentrates competences in IT solutions form SOLIDEX Group

In the year 2005 the company competences were considerably improved by the team of new consultants and programmers. Within the restructuring process of Solidex Group, which owns the company, Webservice almost doubled its team and gathered all the Group qualifications refering to the advanced and complex software solutions, becoming the leader in the Group. Gained qualifications increase production abilities and create new company image on the IT market.

2004 – Professional Project Management

As an effect of the constant company growth and increasing demand for this kind of service, WebService intensively implemented professional management of highly advanced IT projects. In this process competence that formed many different activity areas was combined in order to provide effective designing management and user-oriented implementation of products. Those implemented rules, which were based on the best practice and theories of projects management, became an important value distinguishing WebService from other companies on IT market.

2003 - Towards e-consulting

This was a breakthrough year in the history of our company. Webservice Internet became member of the SOLIDEX S.A. Group, one of the leading IT companies in Poland. In early 2003, the company has been awarded further prizes in prestigious contests. www.zywiec.com.pl web site has been granted the Golden Site prize in the Wprost journal competition, while the BIRLive loyalty program won the Boomerang direct marketing competition.

2002 - Under the CMS logo

The company started its partner program, expanding its competence to among other things implementation of knowledge management systems and content management systems. Adopting that strategy the agency started cooperating with RedDot Solutions and WebToDate, gaining extensive experience in implementing CMS platforms. WebService Internet created the first loyalty program in the Internet - BIRLive for the Zywiec brand, continued to develop its e-consulting services. The company implemented corporate portals, intranets, extranets, presentation layers for electronic banking systems and e-shops.

2001 - Leading market position

WebService Internet has been awarded many prizes in industry competitions. The company developed and improved its product range:

  • SmartShop, SmartActive
  • Content management system - SmartContent
  • eCRM solutions (e.g. CRM system for Volvo)
  • Mobile technologies

The company has gained a position of one of the largest interactive agencies.

2000 - Towards the company's proprietary products

The growing demand for integrated business and marketing projects requires a new branch to be established in Warsaw, at Krakowskie Przedmieście 66. The number of WebService Internet customers was constantly growing, together with the number of employees, which reached 23. The company specialized in e-business and marketing communications, also developed its own proprietary products and solutions (e.g. SmartContent).

1999 - Time for change

The company changed its organizational structure, ownership status and address. WebService Internet Sp. z o.o. has been established with its new office in Krakow. The team joined new consultants and new Clients - international concerns. The company's main goal was to improve the efficiency of project management process. The effects got visible very soon in a few complex marketing and IT projects implemented on time and within the predefined budget.

1997 - 1998 - Marketing in the Net

It turned out that establishing WebService is the "best bet". The customer portfolio grew, together with the scope of offered services, which included interactive marketing services.

1996 - We were born from passion

IRC, electronic mail, first information portals - in other words the beginning of the Internet in Poland. A few mad men came to a conclusion that the Internet is soon to be used for other purposes than only entertainment and is going to become a very important communication channel. This is how WebService was established and... a whole new profession of corporate website developer. The passion of creation was combined with a way of life.
